This is not just a failure of political will. It is a structural inevitability in a world ruled by capitalism and nationalism-systems that reward violence, punish solidarity, and reduce morality to a line item on a balance sheet.
Capitalism is leading the world to the abyss of violence, ecological collapse, and endless war. It strips nations of empathy, sanctifies greed, and empowers tyrants. The inaction over Gaza is not an isolated event-Sudan’s ethnic cleansing, Syria’s mass displacement, and the silent hunger of Yemen all reflect the same brutal indifference. These crises are not outliers, but symptoms of a system that rewards complicity. Capitalism is a machine with no brakes-one that will consume not just Gaza, but all of humanity.
Only Islam offers an alternative: a worldview rooted in justice, mercy, accountability, and the sanctity of life. A system where wealth is a trust, power is a responsibility, and borders are not excuses for inaction but lines to be crossed in defense of the oppressed.
The Muslim world must confront this reality. It must reject the imported ideologies that have fractured its unity and paralyzed its will. It must revive the Islamic political vision—not for dominance, but for dignity, justice, and peace.
The ummah must no longer define itself by flags, treaties, or trade corridors. It must rise as one body, where the suffering of one limb shakes the entire structure. It must become a power that no longer waits for permission to act-because the oppressed cannot wait.
If we abandon Gaza, we do not just betray a people-we betray the very meaning of our faith.
History will not ask whether we issued statements. It will ask whether we acted-when the bombs fell, when the bread ran out, when the children cried out for help. It will ask whether we broke the chains of a world order that rewards silence and punishes principle. Just as future generations still reckon with the silence of nations during past genocides, they will judge us by whether we stood on the side of justice-or simply watched.
Only the resumption of the Caliphate-an Islamic system rooted in justice, honour, and unity-will be the true refutation of genocide.
As the Qur’an declares: “We sent Our Messengers with clear signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance so that people may uphold justice.” (Surah Al-Hadid 57:25)
The question is no longer “who will stop the genocide?”
It is: “Who will call for a new civilisation to stop the genocide?”
